The latest evolution of signaling and lighting of pedestrian crossings created to make them safer and interactive.

When a pedestrian is about to cross the road, the system is triggered either in active (button) or passive mode (via sensor).

The system is activated by button or by sensor and simultaneously:

1. With the intelligent dimming the lighting level of the pedestrian crossing goes from 40% to 100%.

2. The LED flashers are activated, certified and approved according to the higher classes of EN 12352.

Even if the pedestrian is not detected or the button is not pressed, the system APL SMART guarantees a proper horizontal and vertical illuminance in accordance with EN 13201 and adequate signalling. Is also available an APL Smart Wireless version that does not require the installation of any cable on roads.
